The staff went out of their way to keep my 77-year-old mother comfortable and warm, bringing extra blankets for game drives and her tent. Denzel helped her safely to and from the tent and on and off the boat. Sarah organized our balloon ride smoothly, made sure my mother was happy and comfortable, and told us stories about the camp. Bernard made the boat crossings enjoyable, especially for my mom, and taught us some Swahili. Felix remembered our drinks and shared good conversations while teaching us more Swahili. Florence found the sizes and items I needed at another camp and had them delivered to my tent that evening. We felt cared for from the moment we arrived. Emmanuel, our waiter, made each meal special with his smile and attention, and Kennedy regularly checked that we were comfortable. The camp itself is stunning, and the experience was unforgettable. My parents have stayed at Little Governors’ Camp many times, and this year they brought my husband and me along. The whole team made us feel more like family than guests. We had a fabulous time and will definitely return.

Every part of the trip felt 5-star, from the incredible food to the thoughtful staff. We had an incredible experience and couldn’t recommend it enough. When we come back someday, we can’t imagine staying anywhere else.

The luxury tent was fine for a place where you spend most of your time out on safari, and the food was good. It’s ideally placed for trips and seeing animals. The staff were superb and added to a great safari experience. I’d certainly recommend it.

We saw the animals, including the Big Five, and learned about their behaviour and the ecosystem thanks to Benard Koros. His knowledge of the Mara, its wildlife, and landscape made each game drive come alive, and his enthusiasm showed every day. George & David made mealtimes warm and easy, and every staff member was smiling, attentive, and committed to making our stay special. The tents were spotless and very comfortable, with a lovely balance of luxury and closeness to nature. At night we could hear wildlife all around, including elephants right beside our tent, their ears flapping in the dark. We also took a balloon safari at sunrise, which was breathtaking. Our pilot was a fellow Scot like us and made the ride even more memorable. Little Governors’ Camp was the first stop on our honeymoon in the Maasai Mara, and it was magical from arrival. The setting and the people made it unforgettable. We can’t recommend it highly enough and can’t wait to return someday.

This place kicks ass! It was my second stay, and just as awesome as the first. The service, food, and hospitality were unbelievable. Right in the heart of mara!
