Bamba Adventures and Events Ltd made the trip easy. Every room looks out over the Mara River, where hippos, crocodiles, and other animals come to drink. If you're lucky, you may even see a crocodile catch one of the thirsty animals. For a luxury stay in Masai Mara North Conservancy, this is the place.

Tony and his staff made us feel so welcome, and we came away with a stay we’ll remember. The lodge sits in a stunning, exciting spot right beside the river, with hippos to see and hear and giraffes, zebras, and Impalas visible from the lodge. The rooms were roomy, comfortable, and beautifully furnished, and the accommodation and service were outstanding. Thank you, Tony and everyone on the team. I promise you won’t be disappointed if you book the Royal Mara.

We wished we could have stayed longer. The renovated tents are spacious, private, and comfortable, set along the peaceful Maasai River. Our days included four-course meals, excellent wine choices, and top-tier service. The wild setting felt wonderfully close, while the Maasai Warriors nearby were reassuring. Every detail came with world-class hospitality. Royal Mara Safari Lodge was a dream, with nothing left to want except more time.

The location was a real highlight, with the Mara River right outside and crocs and hippos in view. Our room was bright, airy, and private, with a huge balcony and a jacuzzi. There was loads of cabinet and storage space, room for our suitcases and clothes, and two wash basins, which was great for us as a couple. We also had a safe locker for valuables and a 5-liter drinking water can. Solar heaters were set outside each room for hot water. When ours had a small hot-water problem, they moved us to another room straight away. The place was clean, mosquitoes weren't an issue, and they tidied our room daily while we were out on safari. We tried not to open the canvas too much. On arrival we got delicious apple juice, and the staff were friendly and relaxed. One staff member showed us around, helped us find the common areas, and offered to take us out to see the hippos and crocs. We also got a full tour of the property. The food was good overall, and the chef was very accommodating if something on the menu wasn't to your liking. The same soup every day got a bit repetitive, though. My favorite was the Swahili-style pork curry on our last day. Absolutely delicious! I'd looked at lots of places before choosing Royal Mara Safari Lodge in Mara North Conservancy. The online photos made the rooms look a little old-fashioned compared with some fancier resorts, so I was nervous. In person, everything was great. The rooms had been revamped and looked modern and stylish, nothing like the pictures I'd seen. We'd definitely recommend it to anyone going to Mara North. The service and views made the stay special, and we can't wait to return.

The view from the hotel is insanely good, looking over the Mara River with hippos and crocodiles. We even saw crocodiles feast on a hippo. And that cool Kenyan breeze with the sweet smell of nature makes you fall for the place. The rooms are amazing, the service is extremely good, and the people are helpful and understanding, especially Anna and Paul, who accommodated all our requests. Look for Tony, Simon, Anna, and Paul, they're the best. We took the night safari with Simon, who knows exactly where to find lions, leopards, and elephants. When you're in Masai Mara, stay at Royal Mara. What a place, what service!
