Batians Peak Serviced Apartments

Batians Apartment Hotel had a warm, inviting atmosphere with a comfortable feel. I slept very well on the bed, and room service arrived promptly with delicious food. The customer service throughout my visit was a real highlight. It was an unforgettable stay, and I’m already looking forward to coming back.

The place used to be good, but it isn’t anymore. The mattresses were worn out and very thin, paint was peeling and chipped all over, and there were paint flakes and dust everywhere. Water leaked through the roof into my room, and there was black mold. During a power failure, the generator ran for only 10 minutes before it ran out of fuel, leaving no water in the rooms. It felt like they only wanted my money and didn’t care about guest comfort.

The location is great, and the staff were kind and friendly, but the place is poorly maintained and not very clean. The kitchen was missing cutlery and glasses, had two pots of the same size, and no kettle. Mosquitoes kept me awake all night because there was no net and no pads for the mosquito plug. I booked directly and paid 20% more than the prices on booking platforms. The owners seem to rely on the location and dedicated staff instead of maintaining the business. It’s reasonably priced, but still too expensive for what you get.

The amenities were decent, but the staff’s conduct was unprofessional. I booked a room for a guest for one night, and the next day they removed her personal belongings from the room without ceremony. That wasn’t appropriate given the prices. The staff need training in professionalism and courtesy.
