After a 14-hour flight into Kenya, this was where I landed, and I couldn’t have asked for a better start. The staff were dependable and trustworthy, while staying discreet and friendly, and the place had a real family feel. It’s right next to village market, with a safe 10-minute walk to the UN. The name fits, it really is a comfort garden. Thanks for two lovely weeks.

The food was great, the staff welcoming, and the atmosphere pleasant. I also liked being within walking distance of Village Market. I had a really enjoyable stay and would come back.

Breakfast was very good, and I’d recommend the pineapple juice. I shared a room with a friend and found it great. The staff were very polite. One issue was the light switch, which wouldn’t turn the light on, but it was fixed while we were out on a trip.

The grounds were my favorite part, and it was lovely to step outside the room and enjoy the nature. It’s calm and quiet, with no crowds. There’s a pool, fine dining, and a generous breakfast. You can order whatever you want for dinner, including ugali. The room was nice, clean, and tidy, and gets cleaned almost every day. There’s a mini fridge for keeping things cold, a perculator for tea, hot water for bathing, and a television too, though I never turned it on. I had a great time here.

The place is clean and comfortable, though a little aged, and very affordable. It’s next to Trademark Mall and has a shuttle to the UN offices.
