The gym was impressive, modern, well equipped, and kept in great shape. I managed to keep my Strava streak going there. The location was quiet and secure, away from the city bustle but close enough to walk to the UN and several embassies. I’d happily stay again. The staff made the visit feel special. Reception were warm and helpful, housekeeping kept my room spotless and comfortable, and the security team were friendly. Breakfast was a highlight, too. After one day, the staff remembered my usual coffee and omelette order. I tried all three restaurants on site, and both the food and service were consistently solid. Even the first welcome showed care: there was a handwritten note, a pastry with my initial, and a personal message on the TV. Five stars, without hesitation.

It’s peaceful, with smiling people and very beautiful staff. The room lighting and overall ambience were such a lovely touch. I enjoyed the food a little too much 🤭, and the steam room and sauna were spot on. Special shout-out to Brian, the kindest man I’ve met here.

I went to the New Year’s Eve celebration at Troy Restaurant, and it was fabulous. The atmosphere, service, and food made it a night to remember. The hotel itself has a beautiful pool, pool bar, rooftop bar, several restaurants, a relaxing spa, a well-equipped gym, and spacious conference rooms. The Gem Forest Hotel in Nairobi is the most stylishly decorated hotel I’ve come across. Every design detail felt carefully chosen, and the interior was breathtaking. It manages to feel elegant while still being welcoming. The staff were friendly and attentive, and made sure my needs were met, often going beyond what I expected. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Nairobi.

I didn’t get a chance to use the swimming pool, which was the only downside. I stayed at Gem Forest Hotel Nairobi from 30 November to 7 December 2025 for a conference, and had a great experience. It’s a lovely boutique hotel in a convenient location, with a calm, stylish feel. The staff added a lot to my stay. Jacqueline welcomed me warmly and was incredibly helpful throughout, she really is a gem. Vincent also stepped in quickly to sort out an issue, and the security guards were courteous and helpful, which made me feel comfortable and safe. My room was clean and beautifully designed, with lighting I absolutely loved. Breakfast was excellent, and I looked forward to it every morning. I also enjoyed unwinding at Troy, the rooftop bar, which has a great aesthetic. I’ll definitely be back.
