I stayed for eight weeks in spring 2025 and had such a lovely time. I can't believe I never posted this before. The staff made the biggest difference: they were warm, attentive, and really cared about how my stay was going. They arranged rides, got breakfast ready before early trips, and even took me to pick up furniture. After work, I looked forward to chatting with them, and leaving was really hard. They even made me a goodbye cake. With a stay that long, it was wonderful to feel I had a second home, and I'd come back in a heartbeat. The rooms were clean, welcoming, and distinctive, and the grounds were beautiful. There are two locations, and it depends on what matters to you. I loved the greenery, quieter setting, and closeness to Village Market at the one where I stayed. My colleague was at the location nearer the UN, which I believe had more food options, though that may have changed. The staff are shared between the locations, so you'll get wonderful service at either one.

We stayed at Villa 1 twice, on either end of our safari, and it felt like coming home when we returned. The staff welcomed us back, brought up the luggage we'd left behind, and helped us settle in. They'd also kept my wife's favorite travel pillow safe after she accidentally left it at GLV 1 during our first stay. We'd booked a superior room, but realized on arrival that we needed more space. At midnight, a staff member kindly showed me several available rooms. Once we chose one, they helped move our luggage and get us settled. The staff were lovely throughout and kept asking how they could help. It's in a quiet, safe area, about a five-minute walk from a new shopping mall.

The team are so warm and welcoming, and the food is world-class. Gigiri is right at the heart of things, with the United Nations just steps away. I'd definitely come back.

It was clean, with good food, and the place had a homey feel. Omar and Abdul were friendly and quick to help, and the service was very accommodating.

The team were flexible and helpful, and Omar and the others sorted out transportation that made everything comfortable and easy. The location in Gigiri worked well too, within walking distance of village market and the UN headquarters.
