For getting away from Nairobi’s bustle, this is a great spot. The old colonial house and garden sit beside the forest in an upscale, diplomatic neighborhood, and feel like a little haven. It’s good value for money, and some of the most smiling staff I’ve come across. Highly recommended.

Our two weeks here with our young daughters were wonderful. We felt very safe, and the staff made sure we had a great stay and treated us like family. The girls loved spotting monkeys on the property. It was also convenient to have meals there and get our laundry done. We’ll definitely stay again.

Our family of 12 spent the full two weeks over the holidays at Kongoni, and it worked perfectly for us. The rooms were comfortable and well arranged for all ages, including little kids. Breakfast each day and the other meals on offer were nicely prepared with good choices. Above all, the staff were kind and helpful, and learned what each of us needed. A great experience, and we’ll be back.

The rooms have that cozy, comfortable feel while still being laid out with a touch of hotel-style luxury. The food was a 10, and the staff were so kind and keen to help make sure I was happy. Kongoni House is the most amazing B&B I’ve ever visited. I’m really looking forward to coming back, and I’ll bring friends next time.
