LONGONOT PLACE SUITES - Nairobi, City Centre CBD

The location is nice and the premises are okay, but the service was terrible. The staff need basic training in hospitality and guest relations. Since this is an apartment hotel with a whole flat, I asked the housekeepers not to wear shoes inside, as I don’t wear shoes there myself. They refused. After three days, they slid an invoice under my door in my name, even though it should have gone to my company. Reception said they couldn’t issue a replacement. Why make an invoice without telling the guest, and well before checkout? The guest and billing details don't have to match. It felt very unprofessional. There are also mosquitoes, and the windows have no nets.

My nephew just checked out after staying for two months. Such a wonderful place.

We spent three nights in a cozy, nice apartment, and the staff were so friendly. The location is good, too. The only downside was the lack of a standing or ceiling fan. Thanks. Regards, Travellers from Malaysia

The housekeepers were really nice and thorough, and the front desk staff were exceptional. I’d stay again if the apartment had AC. It wasn’t very hot outside, but the room felt quite stuffy without it. They offered me a fan, which I turned down, though later I wished I’d taken it. I was on the fourth floor near the elevator and could hear the restaurant activity and music. If I stayed longer, I’d ask for a different room.
