The children were happiest at the pool, especially on the slides. It was clean and well looked after, and the attendant kept a close watch on the water the whole time. Our meals were all delicious, from lunch and dinner through breakfast, and clearly freshly prepared, even if they took a while. Jose looked after us at both the pool and dinner, paying close attention to our orders. He was consistently great. We celebrated Valentine’s Day, which is also my dad’s birthday, and everything from reception through check-in went smoothly. The staff were welcoming, professional, and accommodating, and we felt looked after throughout our stay. The place is a real hidden gem in Karen. I only found it after seeing a TikTok ad, and I’m glad we did. My family and I had a wonderful time, and the executive tent rooms were comfortable, beautiful, and thoughtfully designed. It’s a lovely stay for adults and kids, and I’d recommend it to families or solo travelers.

We’d celebrated four birthdays here before and had recommended the place to other people, but this visit was awful. We were a group of more than 20 celebrating a birthday and chose the buffet. The service was slow, even with several staff around, though the food was okay and I especially enjoyed the greens. Please check your bill carefully if you’re in a large group. They tried to charge us for three extra people. When we wouldn’t pay that, the owner told the gate not to let us leave until we paid for those extra three. We were treated like criminals instead of paying customers, which was shocking and embarrassing. We’d never met the owner before this incident, so it seems they may be the problem. I usually like supporting local businesses, especially women-owned ones, but I wouldn’t come back. For your peace of mind, spend your hard-earned money elsewhere.

The executive tent was spotless and matched what we’d seen advertised. We found Kivulini Online and booked a weekend staycation, which turned out to be a good choice. Nancy and the other staff were professional, respectful, and helpful from arrival right through checkout. It’s easy to get to, and there’s a play area for kids as well as a swimming pool. Seems suited to solo travelers, couples, or families, with fair prices. I’d happily recommend it.

The rooms were roomy and comfortable, and the shower had running water. Breakfast was delicious and felt personal each morning. It was my first visit to Kenya, and I was glad I picked Kivulini Eco Park in September. The staff were very helpful about flexible check-in times, and they kindly kept my bags on the day I left. I’d love to return to Kenya and stay here again.

It’s quiet, with fresh air, and the staff are friendly. I had a full breakfast and kept drinking coffee, and found it easy to sit and focus on work here. The setup felt much better than coworking spaces where you’re treated like a number. Kivulini Eco-Park is a scenic, unusual hotel in Karen, a nice place to rest, swim, and get away from the city noise. I’ll bring my kids for the swimming and water ride.
