Management was quick to respond, and check-in was easy, even though I arrived late. The apartment is clean and well maintained, with appliances that are easy to use. It's in a great spot, with grocery shops and other local amenities about a 10-minute walk away, if that. Highly recommended.

The room was clean and fairly spacious, and we loved the convenient location and top-notch security. The view was spectacular, but be prepared for the heat because there are no air conditioners. The place has no facilities of its own, so using the gym or pool costs extra, and the restaurant serves vegetarian meals only. We still enjoyed our stay.

The living room makes a huge difference compared with a hotel room, and I would recommend the apartment even without the kitchen or washing machine. It has a great location in Westlands, with easy access via the expressway, and is central for many offices. artcaffe and chandrana store are very close. There's a very good gym in the building and a vegan restaurant. Westlands also feels relatively safe, and the security staff take entry seriously. Even if they recognize you, you still have to go through reception without an access card. The apartment is modern and chic, with clean, nicely designed bathrooms, decent-sized bedrooms, and large french windows in both the rooms and living area. The windows give beautiful views of Nairobi and make the place feel bigger. The kitchen is well equipped with usable cooking utensils, except the knives barely cut better than a butter knife. There are no basic consumables like oil or salt, so you have to buy everything, and it was hard to find small quantities in stores. The washing machine had no detergent in the room, and none available to buy there. Small packs or a pod left in the apartment each day would help. These things make a serviced apartment less useful, though they're minor issues. The main entrance is strange, through an unwelcoming parking basement, and doesn't give a confident first impression when you drive in. You do get used to it. There are some maintenance issues, but nothing that put me off. The shower lets water out of its area even when you're careful. That's a problem because housekeeping only comes once every two or three days. Daily replacement of the bathroom mats and kitchen towel, or leaving spares, would help. Bring toiletries, since the bathroom only has a bar of hand soap. Liquid soap dispensers could cut plastic from the small bars and improve the soap quality. The internet is fast enough for office work and video calls. Streaming is iffy, but works if you avoid Dolby vision or 4K. I strongly recommend staying here. Read the feedback so you arrive prepared rather than wondering about another place.

Management is attentive and keen to help when needed. The apartments and building have excellent style and quality, and the views never get old. Westlands is a safe, relatively quiet neighborhood with good restaurants and food options nearby, and the location makes it easy to reach pretty much anywhere in Nairobi.
