Golden Bay Hotel

The staff are helpful and courteous, and will bring food to your room if you want. There’s a common bar and restaurant, some indoor parking, and clean self-contained rooms. Just don’t stay out too late at night or you’ll need to call the caretaker. If you get a room near the bar, expect some noise if you go to bed early.

We only needed somewhere to lie down for the night after arriving in naivaisha, so my friends and I didn’t mind breaking the rules. There was a curfew, and we weren’t allowed to share a room even though we were all female presenting, which felt very strange. There were too many rules, and the room price didn’t match the quality of the housing. They tried, though.

Right in Naivasha town, this is an awesome hotel. No doubt, you should check it out.

There’s ample secure parking and good security. The hospitality is average, and the location between car repair shops in an industrial area means noise can sometimes be a problem.
