Newstead Naivasha, formerly known as the beldya motel hotel, is a really good spot to unwind.

There’s a mall nearby with a supermarket, pharmacy, and a few other shops. The hotel itself is a decent, affordable place to stay in Naivasha, and the staff are friendly and helpful. My room could use a little improvement, though it had everything I needed. Breakfast and dinner were very good, and arrived nicely presented and on time. I’d recommend staying here.

The food was good and came in generous portions. The rooms were okay, though the windows were set so high that you couldn’t look outside. I also had a small issue with the staff: people I’d travelled with earlier had tested positive for COVID, so I found out I needed a test. They couldn’t tell me where nearby I could get one.

The rooms were spacious and clean, and the staff were really friendly and helpful. There wasn’t much to see nearby, but we were just stopping over on the way to a safari and a visit to Hells Gates.
