My room was lovely and clean, with everything I needed, and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was my favorite part: three basic pastry options alongside a range of hot food. The restaurant staff also offered to dry my laptop bag after my bottle leaked, a thoughtful gesture I won't forget. Service standards were high, and I'll come back again and again. The chicken people rave about, though, was very average.

Midland doesn't serve fish, so be warned if you're planning to order tilapia. I learned that during an important occasion when I chose the hotel as our meeting place and an elder in our group ordered it. I have known the hotel since the early 90s, when it was famous for grilled chicken. My late Dad used to bring me there for breakfast, lunch, and dinner while I was in college, and I made it a must-stop for my children so we could remember that happy childhood.

I loved how private the place was. The rooms are beautiful, the food and drinks are tasty, and the service was a bit slow.

The service was good, and the food is well priced, though I'd rate it 6/10 at peak season. The hotel is gorgeous, with amazing decor and a carefully maintained 70s look. A must-visit in Nakuru, whether you're staying overnight as a couple or family, or just passing through on the highway.

There’s plenty of room for a single guest or a big family, and everything felt clean and high-tech. Great food too, I'd happily repeat the visit. Getting in was easy, and the welcome started right at the entrance, with a staff member walking us through the place. Loved everything ❤️
