AA Lodge Amboseli

We could see that AA Amboseli has plenty of upgrades underway, so I expect the lodge to be even better in the future. I’m looking forward to returning to see the improvements. During our three nights, the rooms felt spacious, the pool was very clean, and the lodge had kept the surrounding nature well preserved. It’s also close to Kimana Gate, so getting into the park was quick. The food was plentiful and good, and every staff member took great care of us. Johnson stood out as a manager: he solved problems quickly, put customers first, and took feedback seriously, even when it was uncomfortable.

The food was decent, and I especially liked the lunch menus during our stay. The accommodation itself was clean, comfortable, and peaceful, just what we needed for our Amboseli trip. The part that felt odd was having to pay extra for basic drinks even though we were on full board. Water wasn’t included, and we had to buy the lodge’s branded water instead of regular options like Keringet or Mayers. Even a simple juice at lunch cost extra. I hope management rethinks this, since including drinking water and basic juice with meals would make the experience feel more complete and guest friendly.

The food was a highlight, tasty, nicely presented, and prepared to suit different tastes. There was enjoyable entertainment too, which helped make the atmosphere relaxed and engaging. From arrival, the service felt professional and welcoming. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always willing to help with a smile. The lodge is clearly well organized, with manager Mr Johnson providing strong leadership and keeping things running smoothly. AA Lodges offers good food, caring service, and a memorable stay, and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for comfort and professionalism.

The view of Mount Kilimanjaro is great, but the grounds could use some work. The service needs improvement too, especially those strange water rules. Wi-Fi in the rooms is a must for me 😡. With DSTV, either provide it or don’t. I heard they’re reopening, so maybe things will improve.
