Tawi Lodge

Our suite, number 15, had a plunge pool and a magical view of Kilimanjaro. It was so peaceful and quiet there. The location feels far off the beaten track, and Moses made our stay especially good. He was friendly, knowledgeable and fun, the best guide. The staff were kind and helpful, and the food was good. I'd say book here, and choose a suite if you can.

Wildlife by the watering hole was right outside our room, which had a fantastic view from the base of Mt. Kilimanjaro. The staff's service was outstanding, and the food was just as good. I also had a wonderful massage. I'd highly recommend the resort.

Mount Kilimanjaro was right there to wake up to, and the views were incredible. It's also very close to Amboseli National Park. Amazing place.

The game drives were breathtaking, with plenty of wildlife, and during sundowners the sunsets were magnificent. Being out among those beautiful animals, even from a distance, made it easy to tune out the rest of the world. We chose Tawi after comparing dozens of lodges in and around the area for price, menu, rooms and activities, and it came out on top for us. The rooms are beautiful and all face Mount Kilimanjaro. Elephants, giraffes, zebras and other animals came to the watering holes each day, while the grounds and pool areas were full of lovely plants and all kinds of birds. The food was spectacular, and every staff member made us feel like the only guests there. A special thank you to Claire.
