Aberdare Prestige & Royal Cottages

The food was fresh and excellent, with lovely African dishes, and the staff were great too. We stayed two nights in a small cottage that was spotless and had everything we needed. The facilities were excellent. We’d definitely recommend it and hope to return.

The room was exceptionally well equipped, with a huge shower, lots of hot water, toiletries, and a very comfortable mattress with high quality blankets and pillows. We arrived at 5:30 p.m. and still had time for a half hour in the pool. The attendant brought supervised towels for me and my son, and we were given a ball to play with without having to ask again. They put on some really old music that we liked, with a great sound system and bass. At check-in they served us nice juice, then drove our luggage the 25 meters from reception to our room, just for fun. I’ve stayed in hotels across many countries, and Aberdare is at a very high standard. We’re heading to get food now, so I’ll report on that later. I’m just a Kenya resident sharing an honest opinion, not an influencer.

The green grass was lovely for grounding, and it did my legs good. I also tried the deep end even though I can’t swim yet, just trying! The pool was well maintained and perfect for a hot day. I went to Aberdare royal cottage for a birthday treat. I take random trips, and this one really delivered. I soaked in the moment, met new people, networked, and did a team building activity. The atmosphere was a 10/10, and the place was so clean. Would I go back? Absolutely.

The heated pool is a real touch of class. You’ll want to dive in and enjoy it. There’s also a band playing outside by a fountain that changes colors, and the conference rooms have state of the art tech. Aberdare prestige & royal cottages is a wonderful spot with fresh air and a break from the noise and bustle. Its setting and service feel in a class of their own. It’s the kind of place that makes you feel like you’ve left your heart behind when you go.
