Bantu Mountain Lodge

The setting feeds the soul, and our gathering was tremendously uplifting. Bantu Mountain Lodge, along with everyone working there, made the experience joyful. The staff’s care, attention, follow up, and concern felt unmatched. The whole place fits the description of extraordinary. The rooms, tent, meeting and dining spaces, and outdoors were all wonderful. The food was local and included plenty of plant-based options. I travel a lot and know what stands out, and this locale really did.

There are plenty of enjoyable activities for adults and kids alike.

The food was quite good once it finally arrived, and the staff were very friendly, though service was extremely slow, even for Africa. You need a lot of time if you plan to eat here. It’s still peaceful and tranquil, a nice place to relax if that’s what you want. It was probably lovely once, but now it’s really suffering from a lack of maintenance.

The river was fresh and the breeze felt superb, just beautiful. The attendants were very cordial, and touring the place was awesome, absolutely free. Sky walking, the crocodile park, and canopy walk were my favorite parts. I’m a foodie, so I noticed the distinctive grilled chicken. Was that garlic and lemon on it? Delicious!
