The clean, comfortable room was great, but what made the stay for me was the manager. She made the place feel so welcoming and homey. We had a lovely evening by the fireplace, and the staff even sang happy birthday to my friend. Such a sweet touch. 10/10!

The Great Circle Lodge is peaceful and close to nature, while still being handy for town. I found it a great spot to relax, whether for a getaway, business, or a stop before exploring Mount Kenya. The staff were warm and made sure I was comfortable, and the outdoor space had plenty to enjoy, including hiking and cycling. Families have room to spread out too, with a playground for the kids. My room was clean and spacious, with a cozy feel and good equipment. The fully equipped kitchen was especially useful. I also enjoyed the restaurant meals, and the Full English breakfast was a very nice start to the day. I had an amazing stay and would happily come back!

The room was in poor condition and didn't match what we'd booked, and that set the tone for a disappointing stay. Breakfast wasn't included, despite the reservation clearly saying it was. When staff apologized for serving moldy bread, they didn't offer a fix, and the owner showed no interest in our complaint. The whole experience was bad and spoiled our stay.

We arrived during the night and they took us in straight away, then made us a really good dinner. The portions were generous and the service lovely. There's a bit of magic to the atmosphere, especially if you're there with a group of friends. I'd recommend it.

Last weekend was such a good experience. I loved the traditional feel, the roomy and cozy rooms, the nature around us, and how welcoming the hosts were. There was parking, and the food was lovely too. I'm definitely coming back soon ✅
