The Nelion

When our car broke down on the way to Lolldaiga, the owner helped right away by putting us in touch with someone who got it repaired the next day. Thanks to how quickly it was arranged, everything went smoothly, and we spent a night at the hotel. The place was very clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We felt completely comfortable. Many thanks again, and we highly recommend the hotel!

We only planned a spontaneous stop at the Nelion after our car broke down on the way north, but the team went out of their way to help. They found us a mechanic, left the bar open so we could have a cold drink after arriving late, and let us stay until the car was fixed, even though that was past the usual checkout time. We really appreciated all that support. Thanks again for a lovely stay!

Waking up to the sounds of nature in this lovely tucked-away spot in Naro Moru was wonderful. The views were breathtaking and the food delicious, but the caring, friendly staff made the stay especially memorable. My family will definitely return to The Nelion the next time we're in Kenya. Thank you!

Serene is the word for it. Life gets busy, so having real downtime, waking to birdsong and sipping tea while looking at Mt Kenya, was bliss. The staff were courteous and keen to help, and I loved the care put into the details around the hotel. After dinner, I came back to my cabin room to find it cleaned, with hot water bottles tucked into the bed. That made a big difference in the cold mountain night. I stayed in the executive room, which had a jacuzzi, and really enjoyed that modern comfort surrounded by nature. Good job Nelion, I'll be back.
