I used to stay here often, but the place feels pretty run down now. The pool was crowded, filthy, and green. I wouldn’t swim in it again unless they cleaned and chlorinated it.

The buffet was a real treat, especially the coconut rice and sauteed spinach. The staff were sweet, and it was $12-15 for all you can eat. There’s also a nice row of Masai shops. Prices seemed a bit high, though they’re willing to haggle.

The food is good, but be prepared to wait a long time for your order, and some menu items may not be available. It’s a nice place to take a break along the route, though it needs better or newer management.

On the way back from Mara, we stopped for a quick lunch. We had sandwiches, grilled veggies, and soft drinks, and there was also a decent buffet for 1000 ksh. It was a little pricey but okay. The staff were helpful and nice.
