Josiah’s warmth, attentiveness, and knowledge really lifted the visit, and the security guard at the entrance was professional, welcoming, and helped make our arrival feel safe and easy. The staff made us feel valued. There’s plenty to do, including creative workshops, guided tours for people interested in a museum visit, and other unusual experiences. Tafaria Castle blends history, art, and nature into a memorable visit. The drive is mostly smooth on good tarmac, with only a short rough stretch near the end, and well worth it. The grounds are beautifully kept and peaceful. The views are mesmerizing, from the wide landscapes and manicured gardens to the castle interiors. Ornate architecture, creative art installations, and thoughtfully arranged spaces make it a feast for the eyes and a source of inspiration. It’s a lovely place for a stroll or a quiet moment. Five stars without hesitation.

The food was tasty and nicely presented, and the staff were professional, friendly, and served us well. TAFARIA CASTLE is a quiet, cool, welcoming place, and the weather there adds to the chance to relax. There’s a good playground where children can run around, plus a swimming pool. Coming from Nyeri Town, it’s located on the right off the Nyeri - Nyahururu Road. I hope you enjoy your visit as much as I did.

Philip Kibet took us for a walk at the Nano Farm, where we learned a lot. He also shared an inspiring leadership lesson that made the outing even more meaningful. Ephantus, our waiter, looked after us excellently every day. He was humble, professional, attentive, and made sure we were comfortable and satisfied. Our stay at Tafaria Castle was wonderful and memorable. From the trip planning through to our departure, everything was handled with care and professionalism. Francis deserves special thanks for guiding us from early this year right up to the trip and making sure everything was organized and we were well looked after. The place is beautiful, clean, and well maintained. Our room was neat, comfortable, and welcoming. The service, people, and peaceful setting exceeded our expectations. Highly recommended, and we look forward to coming back.

The place feels therapeutic, and the food is amazing. I’ve never been to a hotel with so much history and such kind staff. My team and I had a great time, and Eunice the host was especially wonderful.

Customer service for day pass visitors wasn’t the best. The food choices were great, especially the platters, and there are some really picturesque spots for anyone who loves taking photos.
