A reasonably priced option for a visit to Nyeri, with friendly staff and service. The rooms are tidy and have the basics, and the hotel is decently located in town. Some guests did feel the rooms need more space and renovation. Comfort is pretty basic, but the stay was okay.

We had a meeting there recently and appreciated the good service, from reception through the food and halls. They even make a nice cup of tea. If you’re in Nyeri and need to organize something, Batian Grand Hotel would make a good partner. It’s right in the middle of town.

It was a shock to see how much the hotel’s standards had dropped. Dust was visible all over, including on the curtains and bedding. The curtains were coming away, and the water heater wasn’t working. We booked in the morning and arrived in the evening, so we expected the rooms to have been checked before check-in. It was a bad stay overall.

Zebra, the pub at Batian Grand Hotel, stays cozy and quiet. You can play pool without dealing with a crowd, and there's good music on in the background.

The internet is strong, and the service and relationships with clients are great. It's a comfortable, cool place where you can relax in peace.
