I can’t give this hotel a favorable rating after what happened. They refused to return part of the amount I’d overpaid into their account, which showed a disappointing lack of integrity. The outside looks appealing, but inside it was dated, poorly maintained, cold, and unwelcoming. The floors were stained and the place felt desolate. How could I call it a good hotel after that experience? I wouldn’t.

The service was good and the rooms were neat, but please consider putting in hot showers. It’s really cold there.

The people are friendly, and the place is okay, but I ran into a few problems. My room’s loo barely flushes, and there’s no toothpaste or lotion in the rooms. The shower has just one tap, which is unusual for me as someone from Zambia.

Westwood’s food was exceptional, and the location is ideal, right next to a main road. But it’s a fairly old hotel and clearly needs extensive renovations.

Getting here is easy since it’s right along the highway, and there’s good parking. The receptionist was welcoming and kind, the rooms were good and affordable, room service was okay, and the restaurant was good. The main letdown was the food, which was far too spicy and very unhealthy.
