Maxland Hotel Juja

I went to Maxland Hotel Juja for business training and found it quiet and comfortable for learning. The spacious conference rooms worked well, and the staff gave us some of the best service I've come across. The food was great, especially dessert. There's also a pool and a garden where kids can have fun.

The interior looks great, and the facilities feel state of the art. Staff are friendly and the prices are competitive. It's aimed at middle class clients, with service that comes close to excellent. I'd recommend it.

I've stayed here three times now and would definitely recommend it. The rooms are smart and tech-oriented, the location feels safe and secure, and the food is always fresh.

The photos on the homepage gave us a very different impression from what we found, and the stay was disappointing. We had called ahead about a double room and were quoted 4000 KES, but when we arrived to book ten days, the price had jumped to 9000 KES, more than double. Since it was late and we were exhausted, we took a room for one night, with the option to stay another if it suited us. The room was worn out, especially the shabby bathroom that needed renovation. There was no A/C, and the fan the hotel brought had a broken base and had to sit on the floor. Breakfast wasn't convincing either, so we left after that one night.
