My husband, our son, and I stayed at Shimoni Reef for 10 days and left today, 28/12/2025, without a single complaint. The staff were caring and friendly, and everyone made a fuss of our toddler and looked after him. Jonathan, thank you especially, you’ll always be in our hearts. The chef and manager was lovely, with a big heart, and Hassan, the hotel tour guide, made sure guests were safe and comfortable. We loved the food, which felt made with care. The owner has a wonderful team. We recommend the place and hope others receive the same treatment we did. Thank you.

The rooms and food were okay, but felt overpriced for what you get. My daughter was seriously injured by a sharp rock in the poorly maintained pool, and we had to leave early. We gave 24 hours’ notice that we wouldn’t stay the last night, but they refused to refund us. I wouldn’t stay here.

We had to cut the stay short on our first day. The place was dusty, run-down, and poorly maintained, and the rooms felt damp and uncomfortable. The pool was discolored and didn’t look cared for. The food seemed unsafe and was far below an acceptable standard. It looked nothing like the online photos. A terrible stay, and I strongly advise against booking.

The food was the best part of our trip. The place looked nice, especially after its recent renovation. Manager Ben was friendly and accommodating, and front staff Yusuf and Moses supported our group throughout our stay.

The sea-side setting is outstanding, but don’t come in a hurry to eat. The food takes a long time to arrive, and when it does, it isn’t that great.
