The water and the view are lovely, and the place is well designed. It's a three-star hotel near Lake Victoria, with a restaurant, a 24-hour front desk, and multilingual staff. Breakfast is complimentary and continental, and WiFi is free in public areas and all 17 rooms. Free self-parking is available too. The rooms have flat-screen TVs with cable, complimentary bottled water, showers, desks, and free toiletries. Housekeeping is provided daily.

I had one of the most delicious fried fish meals of my life here. Sunset Hotel Usenge is the most worthwhile option for accommodation, conferences, and dining, though it has plenty to improve. It's unfortunately the only high-end hotel in Usenge. Many other places called hotels are restaurants without rooms or lodges without decent dining. They should review accommodation prices, stock more alcoholic drinks, expand the parking and improve security, increase the kitchen's size and output, and work on employee friendliness and attitude.

With how undeveloped usenge town is, this is the most decent accommodation around, even though it’s run down. Manage your expectations, or spend the night in Bondo town instead.

The timeless decor and delicious food make for a nice stay, and the hospitality is great. Usenge Sunset Resort has a distinct feel that makes you feel at home.
