The staff really made my stay better. The barman, waitress, and everyone else were friendly, caring, and always ready to help. It's rare to feel so well looked after. The hotel is small and cosy, with a nice pool and a relaxed feel. I had a very pleasant stay and would recommend it. There's still some room for improvement, which is why I'm giving it 4 out of 5, but the team deserves a special mention. Very, very, very good staff.

Mvuvi has a welcoming feel and a nice layout, and the staff member running the bar tried to help. Still, guests staying in rooms just 10-15 meters away, with doors facing the bar, couldn't sleep as loud music went on past 1:30am on Sunday night. We'd repeatedly asked for it to be turned down. The patrons were attending the bar, not staying at the hotel, and even the staff member couldn't get them to quiet down until very late. There's a lot of potential here, but management needs to think about sleeping guests as well as bar profits. I hope they can sort this out and make it a great place to stay. All the best.

The food, service, and cleanliness were perfect, the finest I've found in Watamu. Frances, Justin, Alex, and especially the young lady who cleaned my room deserve a big thank you. She left beautiful flower designs on my bed every day. Asante Sana for everything. You've made a customer for life 💜. Five stars all the way, and I'll be back every year!

It's a small place with plenty of charm, well located in Watamu and working well with its neighbouring hotel and community. Rooms are clean, the staff are friendly, and the food menu has something for everyone. If you like sports, the team is involved in kite surfing, paddling, and fishing. I had the best time and will definitely return!
