Rock and Sea Resort

Stefano Pelloni and his family have built a resort around being one with nature, and you feel that throughout the carefully arranged grounds. The hospitality was warm and professional from owners and staff alike. My personal favorite was the Bush Bubble Lodge. Inside, it felt secluded enough that I forgot I was at a shared resort. It has outdoor furniture, soft path lighting, a hammock swing, a catamaran net, and an outdoor shower. Indoors there’s a sitting room, bedroom, and full amenities. The lodges also have a lovely traditional homestead feel. There’s so much to enjoy here that I could write a book, but these were my highlights: 1. Room service is complimentary, including breakfast delivered to your lodge on request. 2. Free boat rides run to and from LichtHaus throughout the day. 3. Bonfire spots are lit every evening. 4. The pool and adjoining jacuzzi are beautiful and relaxing. 5. The private bathtub and spa setup in the Bush Bubble is a dream. 6. The Jungle Gym felt like a real-life extension of The Flintstones. I’ve never seen anything like it. 7. Hammocks are scattered around the bar, pool, and gym, so there’s always somewhere to lounge. 8. I loved the poolside swings. I’m a "bouncing baby girl" at heart. 9. The restaurant’s Red Lobster and Calamari dishes stood out. 10. Housekeeping replenishes the rooms twice daily, morning and evening. 11. The included breakfast is so generous you can’t finish it in one sitting. 12. This is the kind of place you visit and never want to leave. The Bush Bubble’s seclusion makes it easy to forget you’re at a resort.
