The pool was a great place to cool off after a hot day, and breakfast was generous and delicious every morning. The lady serving it was so sweet and kind. The rooms were comfortable, clean and had everything we needed, including fast internet, a ceiling fan, a fridge and strong hot water pressure. Pluto, the owners' adorable puppy, was easily a highlight for me. The property belongs to an Italian couple. The gentleman was friendly and made us feel comfortable. His wife didn't make us feel especially welcome at check-in, though she did check on us now and then during the stay, which we appreciated. We were the only non-Italians staying there, and sometimes it seemed we were the only non-Italians anywhere in Watamu. More funny than anything else.

Breakfast was honestly the best part, fresh, delicious and nicely prepared 😋 The staff were welcoming and incredibly helpful, too. The whole place was lovely, clean, peaceful and relaxing, and the beautiful pool area was well maintained. I'd definitely come back.

Getting there and checking in and out were easy and flexible. Simba House is in a quiet part of Watamu town, with some of the nicest beaches just a five-minute walk away. The rooms were impeccable, comfortable, practical and well maintained, and the private, laid-back atmosphere made the stay feel intimate and relaxing. Highly recommend it for a peaceful stay near the beach.

I stayed for six nights and had no complaints. The owner was really friendly and helpful, and nothing was a problem. I'm vegan, so I can't speak to the usual breakfast, but each day I got fresh fruit and mango juice, plus bread, marmalade and coffee. It's an absolutely beautiful place. Highly recommend it.
