Sara Boutique Hotel

The location is good, just a short walk from Osh Bazaar, and the hotel is nice for the price. The staff can arrange tours and airport transfers, and they gave me breakfast to go for my early flight. The locked gate also makes it feel safe. A few things need attention: you have to ask for towels, and there were no toilet rolls or tissues in the room unless requested. There were no robes despite the pictures, and some wallpaper is peeling. In room 304, the AC made a sound like an electrical spark, which was concerning and should be checked. I'd still stay here for the location and price.

The staff were really friendly and polite, which made the stay even better. The rooms were spacious, very clean, and comfortable. I’d definitely come back and highly recommend the hotel.

The place itself looks lovely, it was clean, and the service was good. I still gave it four stars because two things need attention. I’ve booked through Booking.com for over ten years and usually travel alone, though I’m often accompanied when I arrive at a hotel. I told the staff a visitor would come and they said that was fine. Once the visitor showed up, they called to demand another $15, calling it a “hotel law.” I don’t believe that’s a real law. It felt like they wanted extra money because I’m Arab, which was upsetting. Treating tourists well matters if you want them to come back to the country. Also, the Booking.com listing photos show water, but there was no water in reality.

I can’t recommend this place. The bathroom smelled bad around the toilet drain, and there were used underwear left there when we arrived, so the room didn’t seem clean. Towels we put on the floor were never replaced, which makes me think there was no cleaning during the day. We also had to ask before getting towels at all, and our key stopped working on the second day and night.
