Club Strelets Hostel

I've come back before and will return again. The staff are friendly and helpful, and there are plenty of shared spots to sit, alone or with a group. The kitchen is great for preparing food and chatting. Rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable, and the quiet garden is lovely for reading, relaxing or swimming.

The outdoor atmosphere is really pleasant, and the staff tried to be nice. Still, you may find yourself waiting at reception while they're outside smoking. The rooms vary a lot, from very small ones with strange colors to huge, pleasant ones, but they all cost the same. Our room had neither towels nor drinking water.

Good value, whether you choose the hostel or a junior suite, which I'd recommend for couples. The staff were very helpful. I met two groups; English was good with only the first, but we managed perfectly well in Czech, so I think any Slavic language would work.

Calm, charming, clean and cozy, with a well-designed kitchen that has the equipment you need, plus a swimming pool. If you don't want a hectic, cramped hostel packed with backpackers, this is a great choice. We enjoyed it a lot.
