Tourasia Hotel

We stayed a full 7 days in winter during the off season, and it was a great experience. The front desk and other staff were friendly and helpful, even arranging transport when we needed it. Breakfast was simple, with a good variety. I enjoyed it, just don’t expect an American breakfast since this is Central Asia. The room was quiet because ours faced inward, though I’d avoid one on the main street side if noise bothers you. It’s a convenient area for exploring the city, with lots of public transportation nearby. The front desk is staffed 24 hours, which made it feel very safe. Rooms were cleaned daily, with fresh towels and amenities. The bathroom’s heated floor was especially nice in the cold weather. Honestly, that was better than what I had at a much more expensive hotel in dubai. I was very satisfied with the stay.

I’ve stayed here several times when visiting Bishkek, and have never had a serious problem. The staff are very friendly and always willing to sort things out, and the Wi-Fi worked well during my visits. It’s good value for money, with spacious rooms, nice furnishings, comfortable beds, and good facilities. In colder weather, the heated bathroom floors are a lovely touch. Towels, a bath robe, shampoo, and soap are all provided. Breakfast is plentiful, and the lady in charge will make fresh eggs or porridge, which I really liked. The hosts are wonderful, and the reception team is warm and welcoming. There’s also a very cozy café attached to the hotel, with good coffee, different teas, and delicious homemade cakes and bread. It’s nicely decorated and the staff are friendly. I always find it hard to pass by without stopping in. When I come to Bishkek, I try to stay here, and I can definitely recommend it.

The room was really unpleasant because the bathroom smelled awful. Reception first told me the smell would go away, but it was horrible to stay there. They moved me the next night, and the new room was better, though its bathroom had the same problem. The receptionists also need to greet guests more warmly. They looked dull, and I saw the same expressions from staff in the breakfast area.

The location was good and the staff were very helpful, and the hotel itself was nice. I was disappointed by breakfast, which looked nothing like the photos and had been one of my main reasons for booking. It wasn't a buffet. Once the food was gone, there was no more, so guests had to arrive at 8am; a few people didn't get to eat. There was no fridge or safety box in the room either.
