We chose this place because of a previous stay, and it’s still good. The room was large and clean, with a full bathroom, and the guesthouse is cozy and close to the beach. They serve breakfast and other meals, which is handy. The reservation setup is a bit disorganized, and the Wi-Fi has some issue for unclear reasons. The staff are very friendly, though, and make you feel like part of the family. We may come back.

We spent one night here with two adults and our 5-year-old. The grounds felt cozy and were well looked after, and our room stayed warm and dry. It had what we needed, including a fridge, extension cord, wardrobe, table, chairs, TV, and more. The beach is a five-minute walk away. It was quiet and peaceful at night, and we parked in the courtyard so we didn’t have to worry about the car’s safety. We asked the hostess for another pillow and she brought one without any problem. The water was hot, and having the toilet and shower in the room was very convenient.

I was here a week ago, and had an excellent stay. The owner and her assistant helped us get around. Meals were available for an extra fee and were delicious. The beds had soft mattresses and clean bedding, and the rooms had TVs with satellite channels, new furniture, an en suite bathroom, and hot water. There’s a dining room and a courtyard where you can eat or hang out in the evening. The beach is a seven-minute walk from the guesthouse.

We loved this guesthouse. The price felt right for what we got, and the beach, shops, and cafes were close by. Our clean, cozy room had four beds, a shower and toilet, and a little entrance area with a table. We spent a week at Issyk-Kul, but hardly saw the hosts, as someone else had mentioned.
