The staff were attentive and polite, and the service was top-notch. I'm very pleased with the quality and would definitely come back and recommend the place to others.

At $40, I don't think this hotel is worth it. We eventually got a refund and moved to a nearby hotel called Kok Art, about a 10-minute drive away. The water there was fine, so we could finally wash the foam and sunscreen out of our hair. The manager wouldn't move us to another, higher-quality hotel in the same chain, though we agreed to the refund. At reception they said the problem was citywide, not an issue with the hotel. We'd called before booking to ask whether the hot water was working and were told it was. After checking in, the shower was cool. It warmed up a little while I was washing my hair, but the pressure then vanished, and the showerhead stopped completely. The rain showerhead didn't work at all. I stood there covered in foam as it ran into my eyes, calling reception for about 20 minutes while they promised to look into it. We could see the only receptionist running around trying to fix the water. I wiped off the foam with a towel and rinsed my hair at the faucet when a little water came through. Even after 40 minutes, the problem wasn't fixed. Other guests were shouting in the shared hallway, asking if there was any water or pressure. There were other problems too. The rooms we were first assigned had windows facing a very noisy road, so sleeping with the window open was impossible. The room had a dirty cup and a dried, used tea bag on the saucer. There's no reception on site, either. For check-in and checkout, you have to go to another hotel's desk 150-200 meters away, then someone escorts you back. One person handles reception, checks in every guest, walks them to their rooms, and tries to deal with the water problems. Check-in can take 20-25 minutes.

We checked in on May 8, 2022, and had trouble finding the hotel unless you already know exactly where it is. In the room, the first things I noticed were a used tea bag and dirty cup, so much for housekeeping. There was no hot water, and the pressure was nearly nonexistent. You won't be able to shower properly here. I highly recommend this hotel.

For a small place like Jalal-Abad, 12,000 soms for just 5 hours is far too expensive. That's more than Moscow.
