Agat Yurt Camp Glamping

The setting is so peaceful, between the mountains and the lake, with lovely views in every direction. The camp is thoughtfully laid out, and breakfast with a lake view was memorable. There was plenty to eat, plus hot water, tea, coffee, and snacks in the shared area. We enjoyed chatting with other guests over tea, and the dinners were delicious. We never found out who cooked, but their lagman was better than the one I tried in central Bishkek 🙂 Oleg and Zhenya were kind and helpful throughout. We had made a mistake with our booking, but Oleg welcomed us warmly and made sure we weren't left stranded. He answered our questions before we arrived, and both hosts were understanding and easy to communicate with in English. He also helped us have a fantastic horse-riding experience, and there are plenty of other activities. The toilets and showers were very clean. As a couple, we had a wonderful stay, and hope we can return to Kyrgyzstan and Agat Yurt Camp someday. Thank you for everything 💜

The yurts were spotless, and the beds comfortable. Oleg had ideas for all our questions, and the hosts really looked after everyone. A fantastic camp.

We had a really good stay at Agat Yurt Camp. The owners were warm and friendly, kept in touch well, and shared lots of useful information about the area and what to do. They even helped arrange an eagle hunt demonstration and later sent back something we had left behind. The spacious yurts have an authentic feel, with comfortable beds. Breakfast was generous, and the camp is a short walk from the sandy beach and close to Fairy tale canyon. A lovely, cosy place by lake Issyk-Kul.

The hosts were the best part. Their kindness really moved me, and I felt more at home than at home. Both dinner and breakfast were better than anywhere else nearby. I loved every moment and only wish I could have stayed longer and learned more about Oleg and Zhenya. The yurt was beautifully made, with a wooden core and cozy textiles, and it was lovely to relax inside. Opening the door to the mountain view in the morning was exactly what I needed. The lake and its wild but clean beach are just a few minutes away. Such an inspiring stay at Agat Yurt Camp ❤️
