Ala-Kul guesthouse in Altyn-Arashan

I stayed at Ala Kul Guest House with friends, and it was the most unpleasant part of my trip. My friend left her jacket in the kitchen and came back just 30 minutes later, but it was already gone. She contacted the administrator right away and was told they knew nothing. I was shocked that no one took responsibility for something disappearing so quickly. It left me feeling that guests' belongings aren't monitored or kept safe, and that the hotel doesn't care about their guests. I can't recommend it, and the whole stay left a sad impression.

The view was breathtaking, like a postcard, and I could have sat by the window for hours. The internet was unbelievably fast, and I’d recommend paying for the package because it’s worth every cent and helps them keep up their great work. My room was spotless, fresh, and well maintained, and the bed was incredibly comfortable after a long day. One of the best hotel stays I’ve had.

They arranged our horse riding and UAZ trip to Altyn Arashan, and everything felt well organized and went smoothly. The hosts were the friendliest, the food was delicious, and our room was warm and super clean with amazing views. One of our best stays in Kyrgyzstan, and I’d definitely recommend it.

A lovely new guest house, clean and comfortable, and the first one you come across when you arrive. They have shared and private rooms, and the owners speak English. I recommend staying here 😊
