It's very quiet and isolated, with beautiful views and a great location close to the Karakol ski resort. They offer free transfers there and back each day from 9am-4pm. There isn't much to do around here in winter besides skiing. The staff don't speak English, but Google Translate helped us communicate just fine. They were accommodating about my vegetarian diet too.
The breakfast was poor, and everyone in the same group had to choose the same thing, either porridge or an omelette. The woman running the place was unfriendly. There are lots of rooms, but they're tiny and poorly equipped. For this price I was disappointed, since you can find very good accommodation in Karakol city.
Ernest was so kind and helpful. Our room was quiet, which matters a lot to me. Unfortunately, we had to leave quickly because I was injured.
The food is delicious, and Ernest is a great guy who helped arrange everything we needed. Nice place.
