The girl at the front desk was such a joy, kind, happy, and welcoming, and she made the stay worthwhile. The bed was comfortable, although the showers looked really bad. The guesthouse didn’t look much like the pictures and felt a bit far from everything. We had to leave on an early flight, so we missed breakfast, but they prepared breakfast packs for us to take along.

I was really impressed with this place. The room is nicely decorated, the host is very kind, and it feels safe. It’s also not far from the city center. We came from Thailand. 🩵

The quiet cantina was a real plus for me. We could read or write there late into the night, and the breakfast was great. The place was clean, well run, and the AC got properly cold. You can pay in som, euros, or dollars, by cash or card. We stayed here between a few days acclimatizing in Ala Archa National Park and mountaineering in Karakol. It's a handy place for a first or last night in Bishkek. It's a little away from the main roads, but taxis arrive quickly, so getting around was easy. We didn't need border permits ourselves, though lots of people came by to pick them up. If that's what you need, get in touch with the “sisters” 😊. Backpackers in a hurry can also buy camping gas here rather than heading into the city.

The guesthouse had a warm, cheerful feel, and everyone spoke English. We first stopped in while arranging our border zone permit. A very kind woman working with CBT helped us get it incredibly quickly. We had contacted her on WhatsApp about 1-2 weeks ahead, and the whole thing went smoothly. She also knew a lot and gave us really useful suggestions for planning the next part of our trip. Definitely worth stopping by!
