Janyl was the real standout. She knows so much about the area, responds quickly, and goes out of her way to help guests get around. She can explain Kyrgyzstan’s public transport routes and times, arrange private transport, and share trekking route advice. There are maps and other information in the living room too. The setup makes it easy to meet people, with a big, well-stocked kitchen and sofa area. The showers stay hot with a strong flow, and there are large lockers, filtered drinking water, laundry service, and a bag storage room for hikes. Each bunk has a shelf for your things, a curtain, plug, light, and towel. Such an amazing hostel. My favourite place to stay during almost a month in Kyrgyzstan. Couldn’t recommend it more!

The kitchen is extra big, so there's room to socialize with other travelers, and you feel safe there. The hostel is clean, spacious, and next to a big park. It's packed with useful information too.

The host was helpful with everything, and the hosts are such warm, lovely people. We could leave our extra bags for our hikes in their separate locked storage room. It was clean, and the big kitchen had two cooking areas and two fridges. Everything was awesome!

Jannil and her husband know a lot about the region, and they're attentive to their guests. They work hard but still make time to answer questions and look after everyone. The rooms are really comfortable and give you all the privacy you need. One of my best hostel experiences, highly recommend!

Janyl is an amazing host, really friendly and helpful, with all the knowledge you need to plan your hikes. The hostel is clean and a good size, with a nice garden and kitchen. Its location is good, and the travelers create a friendly atmosphere. Our favourite hostel in Kyrgyzstan, the perfect place to stay in Karakol.
