The felt making demonstration lasted about 30 minutes, and our group got to take part while the women showed how wool is spun, dyed, washed, and teased into felt products. Our guide Simon translated. At the end, they put a bag of felt items for sale on the table, but there were no prices. People rushed in and some group members grabbed most of the souvenirs. I got a tiny sheep Christmas ornament, and it cost almost the same as the person before me paid for a large Bactrian camel wearing a satchel backpack. The pricing was confusing, and I wish the items had been marked.

For a simple room with a shared bathroom, it was 12eur/night/person, breakfast included. There’s a washing machine, and they let us leave our luggage until the evening while we took a day trip to a lake. Great place and a nice owner. The mattresses could be better :)

We only stopped with our tour group for lunch, but it was a cozy, delicious home-cooked meal. You can tell they care about every little detail. The raspberry jam on the ice cream was heavenly.

The room was clean and warm, the shower was great, and the Wi-Fi worked fine. This friendly, welcoming family served fantastic breakfast and dinner, including homemade manti and lovely porridge, among lots of other things. The only downside was that there were no double beds, so it wasn’t as comfortable as it could’ve been. Still, we had a lovely stay.

A great little guest house and good value for money. We booked that day after seeing availability on booking.com. It cost the same to book direct as through booking.com, and they only have a few rooms, so it’s worth booking ahead.
