Breakfast was one of the best we had during our 23 days, with a huge range of hot and cold choices. They also packed excellent lunch boxes for our day trip to the caravan-sai, with good vegetarian options. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant one night, see my separate review. Our two-night stay at the Grand Khan Tengri Hotel was top notch. It's in its own gated compound outside town, though there are minimarts nearby for anyone wanting a walk. Reception also has a small snack shop and drinks fridge, with very reasonable prices. We arrived in the late afternoon and check-in was quick and easy. The hotel is modern and refurbished. My room was spacious, with a huge comfortable bed, a very clean bathroom, great hot water and wifi. The carpet was lovely, and the heated bathroom floor was handy for drying clothes. In the foyer and sitting areas, the artwork was beautiful. There was also a hilarious Silvio Berlusconi 'bunga bunga' sticker on the shelf above my safe.

The hotel is really beautiful, and I enjoyed staying here. I was welcomed so warmly, with the door opened for me and directions to the restaurant and other things. I especially appreciated how the receptionist answered all my questions. I’ll try to come back next year.

A nice place to stay, and the food is good, including breakfast. The porridge and burgers were fantastic. I’d just suggest switching to a different cheese brand.

We had everything we needed in the room, including toiletries, and the bed was really comfortable. It was neat and clean, with a lovely mountain view. Breakfast was very nice too, and you can enjoy that amazing view while eating. We had a great stay at this hotel in Naryn. The restaurant serves good, reasonably priced lunch and dinner, then they put on some music after dinner. Highly recommend it if you're in Naryn.

The staff were especially helpful. At reception and in the restaurant, people did their best to meet our requests, and we came away with a great impression of Kyrgyz hospitality. It's a very new hotel in a nice, quiet part of Naryn.
