After riding the Pamir and Wakan Corridor on our motorcycles, this felt like pure luxury compared with what we’d been used to. The rooms were clean and comfortable, breakfast was great, and there was a lovely outdoor dining space plus a covered place to eat. Staff were super friendly and looked after us well. We used the laundry service, which was very reasonably priced, and the hotel let us do some much-needed work on the bikes. It’s close to town and right by the river. Renovation and extensions were underway, but didn’t affect us too much. The room aircon was down, though they gave us a portable appliance. A great stay, and I’d highly recommend it to overlanders.

After a poor night’s sleep, I asked at 0715 for the air-conditioning to be fixed. I followed up at 1100 and was told the repairman had been called, then asked again at 1600 and learned he wasn’t in Osh. The front desk lady had tried to tell me 26° was normal for sleeping. I insisted on changing rooms, but it wasn’t any better: after three hours with the AC running, my room was still 24°. There are many better options in Osh. Avoid Tes Hotel.

The rooms were spacious and clean, and breakfast was great. The reception team, all the ladies working there, were incredibly kind and helpful. I can only recommend this hotel.

The breakfast was nice enough, and Tes Hotel has pleasant, well-kept grounds in a great city location. But our room air con wasn’t working during our stay, which was very uncomfortable in the sweltering heat. They didn’t offer us any discount or other concession.

We arrived pretty late, but they still had rooms available. Renovations were still underway and there wasn’t air conditioning yet, though I think the place will be beautiful when the work is done. The staff were helpful and let us leave our car securely for 5 days while we went horse trekking. I’d definitely recommend it.
