The sheets were stained and dirty, and the towel was old and dirty too. I asked for a replacement, but that one was still nasty. The towels looked worse than rags. Even the room sandals provided for guests were old and used.

The price was very expensive, but what they provided was bad. It was a bad stay: the room wasn't clean or properly prepared, and the atmosphere was unpleasant.

8/10
There's an enormous shaded pool and an exercise area, with a market nearby and plenty of food stalls along the main street in the evening. The rooms are a good size, the Wi-Fi is okay, and the television reception only comes in well on CNN. Staff are friendly, helpful, and polite.

The family-run place is a work in progress, but it could soon be a masterpiece. The wooden decor is amazing, and there's a rooftop pool. They speak a little English and Mandarin. Very good, five stars.

The location is good, but the room was small and not very clean.
