Battambang Resort

The breakfast was the best we’ve had at any hotel, and the food in general was delicious and affordable. Our room was beautiful, and I’d especially recommend getting one with a lake view. It’s such a lovely little haven, and we were able to properly unwind. The service was excellent.

It’s a bit outside downtown Battambang, but there’s a free tuk tuk into the city, which is helpful. The resort has lovely decor and simple rooms, and the staff are consistently friendly and helpful.

The mini golf was a lovely extra for the family. Our kids had a great time, and we played three times! Battambang town didn’t inspire us much, so we wouldn’t spend too long there, but the resort was a real highlight, calm and welcoming, with great service. We’d recommend it to families or anyone after a quiet base. We stayed in both garden and lakeview rooms. If you can, I’d choose the lakeview for its much nicer outlook and feel. The rooms were spacious and well maintained, and the pool was clean and great for cooling off. The hotel is just outside town, in a peaceful setting. Restaurant staff were friendly and attentive, and the food tasted good. Lunch and dinner portions could be a little bigger. We had a small electricity problem in one room, but the staff fixed it quickly, which we appreciated.

The hotel is a long way from the city center, but the staff were friendly and service minded, and the restaurant was good. I’m very grateful they made the effort to get my lost item to Phnom Penh within a day.
