Kampot Sweet Boutique

The hotel is just outside town in a lovely setting among the trees, with well-designed, large, clean rooms around a clean pool. Staff were exceptional, professional, attentive, and genuinely made us feel at home. There’s a high-quality breakfast menu and a great chef in the kitchen. They offer free rides into town and have rental scooters at the hotel. The staff also know the area well and can suggest places to visit. A wonderful place to unwind in Kampot. We’ll be back.

The hotel sits in a pleasant, quiet spot outside town, and you can see the effort put into making it comfortable. The pool is very nice. The food at dinner was good, but ordering was a problem: if most of your guests are foreigners, the staff need to understand at least some English. Our order was misunderstood, some of the food came late, and we had to place the order again. The ground-floor rooms were very humid, and in the morning, when everyone was getting ready, there was no way to get a warm shower.

The staff brought a quiet kind of excellence to the whole stay, attentive and professional and making everything feel seamless from beginning to end. The rooms were impeccably cared for, lightly scented, and had wonderfully comfortable mattresses, a standard I rarely find in Cambodia and really appreciated. The pool felt completely private, adding to the calm, intimate atmosphere. A refined, peaceful retreat with a real sense of exclusivity.

The villa was lovely and the staff were friendly. Nights are pretty quiet around here, which might feel a little uncomfortable for women traveling alone, though I still felt safe.
