Montagne Boutique

I won't be coming back. When we arrived in the late afternoon, the male receptionist seemed unfriendly and unhelpful. He appeared annoyed when we asked him to confirm the bed size because it didn't match our booking. Some basic customer service training and a smile would help. The room needs work too. The bathroom tiles were slippery and stained with rust, the hot and cold water kept fluctuating, and the cushions weren't clean. The fan in the room didn't work and had collected dust. The nearby train line can also be disturbing if you're sensitive to noise.

You get a lot for the price at this new, clean place. It's close to the city centre and tourist activities, and has a nice mountain view. The nearby train and truck road do bring some noise.

The room was huge and nicely decorated, with a big balcony, comfortable bed, good TV, great shower and a tub. There are two pools, and the saltwater one is a real highlight, with a bar and jacuzzi. For the price, that's very good. We could hear the train because the hotel is so close to the tracks. It didn't bother us as much as some other reviews suggested, apart from one time. What really upset us was a very loud party right below our room at 7:30 in the morning. There was no explanation or apology. I can't understand how management thinks that's okay. Such a shame.

The rooms, facilities and cleanliness were fine, though the breakfast buffet was below average. It's handy to order drinks at the pool through Telegram to reception, especially with not many staff around. The location was okay for me, but the train track is very close and can be noisy. It felt expensive for the location.
