For $15, either a single or double room is a good deal for budget travelers, though I don't know whether they have pricier, better rooms. The location is easy to find, near the crab market and riverside, but the guesthouse itself isn't attractive. The room is basic, with AC, an extra fan and a TV that I couldn't confirm worked. Cleanliness was average, the bathroom wasn't well kept, and some showerheads need fixing. There was no hot or cold water, and I didn't check the WiFi. It can be quiet at night and sometimes in the daytime. I felt safe in general, though I'd heard rumors about some rooms being haunted. I had a strange experience too, but can't tell if it was real or my imagination. Staff weren't especially welcoming, but they responded and helped when needed. There's no BBQ stove or anything for sale, just the guesthouse, though several huts with hammocks are handy for resting or eating. Car parking is free. Motorcycles are left outside without a lock or security, which feels unsafe, even though I've never heard of a bike being stolen here. A decent cheap stay if you don't expect much in the way of facilities or security.

The grounds and view are great, though the room itself really isn't fit for a stay. It was dirty, some lights were broken and the lighting was poor, and the bathroom was unbelievably gross. I stayed here twice, in 2018 and 2021, and came back in 2021 to see whether things had improved. They'd actually got worse. Maybe come for an overnight party with friends, but I wouldn't stay in the room.

I remembered this place as really nice when I visited in 2017, but by 2021 it had gone badly downhill. The room wasn't clean and bathroom equipment was broken. The entrance stairs stayed very dark because they didn't turn the lights on until 7 or 7:30 PM. It felt like a ghost building. Even with cheaper prices than other places nearby, I wouldn't recommend staying here.

It's near the crab market and right by the sea, and the beds were okay and fairly clean. But the place is cheap and still ought to cost less. It could have been nice if things met a basic standard: no hot water, AC that barely worked, a broken TV, and light coming in from the corridor.

I've had some really bad guesthouse stays, and this was one of them. It was a weekend in an apartment with around 30-40 rooms, but only three rooms seemed occupied from my booking. The place felt like a ghost building and the rooms weren't clean. Not recommended.
