We had a good time, and for the price the quality was good. They looked after us well during low season. The staff were friendly and spoke very good English, and the food was good and arrived promptly. The pool table was out of order because of renovations that were going to happen in the future.
The island tour was stunning, and Ritthy was keen to be friendly and helpful. There were a lot of very weird people around. The room was old and not the cleanest, but the guesthouse had a friendly atmosphere that made up for a lot. THANK YOU.
The location is good, and the rooms are decent. But this is also a tour company, and when I asked about the boat trips advertised on the walls, I just got a no, with no explanation or suggestions. The owner seemed more and more indifferent when I didn’t eat there. Nobody else was eating there either, and the last time I ate in an empty restaurant I paid dearly for it. A little promotion and enthusiasm go a long way. Indifference doesn’t.
Mr Ritthy can help with pretty much anything: tours, visas, packages sent from Phnom Penh, buses around Cambodia, and transport to Thailand or Vietnam. The food is excellent, the rooms are reasonably priced, and it’s beautifully set on the riverfront with fantastic sunset views. Brilliant, 10/10.
A private room costs $12 with A/C or $7 with a fan, but there are better deals in town. The place wasn’t very clean, and the meal was okay to good, though a bit expensive. Mr Rhitty is indifferent and doesn’t seem to care much about you. In rainy season, don’t expect tours from him, there are hardly any, and only if you’re lucky. There are no alternatives or anything. Weird grandpas with young Khmer sit in the restaurant all day.
