Hotel de la Renaissance

The concierge was great at finding guides and suggesting how best to see Siem Reap. Everyone was friendly and accommodating. My 3 teenagers loved cooling off in the pool after a day touring the countryside. A real jewel of a hotel.

The staff were so polite, friendly, and attentive. They arranged a city wide tut tut tour for us, and on another day provided an air conditioned van with a driver and English speaking guide. They also sent us with plenty of bottled drinking water. The free shuttle to and from Siem Rep airport, about 10 minutes away, was handy. On our departure day, they packed breakfast boxes for us to take along for sunrise at angkor wat. It’s a beautiful, spacious property that was less than a year old when we visited. The place was very clean, the in room AC worked well, and the pool was lovely. Some adjoining room setups have a king bed in one room and 3 singles in the other, which works well for a family. The on site restaurant serves continental, asian, and american food, with attentive service and prices similar to other sit down places nearby. The advertised massage prices are much higher than what you can find off property. It’s a higher end hotel, but the nightly rates are still reasonable if you’re willing to spend a little more than rock bottom. By USA standards, it’s very, very inexpensive. I highly recommend it.

I live across from the hotel, so I’ve never stayed there 😅. But the pool looks really nice and cool 👍🏻.

A very comfortable stay with excellent service. Most of the staff are friendly and well trained in hotel hospitality, especially Mr. Tin. He’s always smiling and ready to help us organize our tours, which gave us a good experience.
