The food is good and well priced, and the place has a lovely garden feel. It’s near the busier, more touristy bars farther down the beach, but the atmosphere here feels more private. Locally owned, with super friendly staff.

I didn’t stay here, so I can’t comment on the accommodation, but I enjoyed the tasty restaurant food, served by the friendliest guy. The views are what make this place, and the chilled atmosphere is perfect for spending the day.

We came to the restaurant at Dolphin Bay Resort for the BBQ, and the service was great. The staff were welcoming and friendly, and after our meal they noticed us looking at their puppy and introduced us. My whole red snapper and chips cost $8 and was fantastic, a big fish cooked beautifully with brilliant fries. Great value at that price, especially compared with the rest of the island. Highly recommend!

We had a private hut with a balcony and a sea view to wake up to, plus mosquito nets, and I didn’t get bitten once. The stay at Dolphin Bay was lovely, relaxing, and affordable, with good food and warm service. It’s a family-run place, and the friendly staff helped us arrange boat taxis and a ferry to Koh Rong for the next part of our trip. They even let us know when sunset would be. There’s a fire every night.
